Nov 17, 2025 Update (from Antigua):
WE MADE IT!!!! A little after 11pm on Sunday, November 16, we dropped anchor in Falmouth Harbour, Antigua, after 12.5 days. This morning, we’ll move over to Nelson’s Dockyard in English Harbour and will spend the next few days exploring Antigua and attending Salty Dawg events. Later this week, we’ll move Second Half up to her holiday spot in Jolly Harbour, where we’ll leave her until we come back in early January. If you’re interested in seeing all of our daily update emails from the journey, check out this blog with the emails that our amazing crew member, Penny, authored each day

We’re always adding new albums and photos to our Photos page. If you’d like to see the most recent set of photos, click here for Winter 2026 - Salty Dawg Rally or here for the Winter 2026 - Preseason Prep album
Videos
We’ve started producing more edited videos for different locations and we created a page where we we’ll link directly to those videos. Our most recent longer form video was of from our time last season in the Berry Islands
About Us
We both lost our amazing spouses during mid-life. We found one another seeking support from others who had a similar experience and married in August 2021. We talked about dreams for our second half together, and sailing was part of the dream. We were fortunate to retire early and purchased Second Half, a 2022 Leopard 45 Sailing Catamaran, in November 2023. After two great winter seasons in the Bahamas, we’re heading to the Eastern Caribbean for Winter 2026 and will spend the season sailing along the islands between Antigua and Grenada.
